A cinematic witness to awareness in motion — the process of befriending anger, fear, despair, and attachment, emanations of the hell-realm, unfolds among local flora: their growth, bloom, colour, and form, adornment of interdependence.
The title of the work — passing a pair of hand-strung jade, refers to movements of value, and describes the becoming of the Chinese words for friends (朋友). It’s a work in progress utilising mainly 16mm colour macro cinematography.
